Please arrive at Starting Point at 9:15am/2:45pm (Morning Class/Afternoon Class) as the car leaves no later than 9:20am/2:50pm (Morning Class/Afternoon Class) sharp. If late, make your own way to Sompong Thai Cooking School.
Sompong Thai Cooking School
Sompong Cooking School offers a delightful and immersive culinary experience that allows you to discover the rich flavors and techniques of authentic Thai cuisine. Located in the heart of Chiang Mai, this well-regarded cooking school is led by passionate chefs who share their love for cooking and the cultural significance behind each dish. Participants can choose from a variety of classes, ranging from introductory courses for beginners to more advanced sessions for seasoned cooks. Each class typically begins with a visit to a local market, where you'll learn to select fresh ingredients and spices essential to Thai cooking. At Sompong, you'll learn how to prepare classic Thai dishes, such as Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Tom Yum Soup, using traditional cooking methods. The hands-on approach ensures that you not only learn to cook but also gain insights into the health benefits and history of the ingredients used.
