It is the only palace mixed with modernism and tradition architecture style. One side is blessed with numerous examples of late-Joseon dynasty architecture. The other side consists of two imposing neoclassical structures. Doldam-gil is the stone-wall walkway with traces of modern and contemporary history. It is known as an area for dating young couples.
