Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater
Rezo Gabriadze's puppet theater is located on Shavteli Street in the old part of Tbilisi. It is the first Georgian puppet theater in Tbilisi. The theater was built in 1981 by Rezo Gabriadze. It has an individual, interesting architecture and is one of the most popular sights in Tbilisi. The clock tower created by Rezo Gabriadze in 2010 became the face of the theater. Once an hour, a golden angel comes out of the painted doorway and rings the bell with a small hammer.
Anchiskhati Basilica
Anchiskhati Cathedral is located at Ioane Shavteli Street in the old part of Tbilisi. It is a three-nave basilica dating back to the 6th century and is the oldest church building in Tbilisi. The current name of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is connected with the icon of the Savior that came here from Anchi Monastery in South Georgia in 1664. The icon of the Savior of Anchi is an excellent example of Georgian stamping, it is carved by Beka Opizari and is currently kept in the Georgian National Museum. In the late Middle Ages, the Anchiskhati Church was an important center of religious and cultural life.

Patriarchate of Georgia is located in the eastern part of Erekle II Square in Tbilisi. There was the palace of King Rostom in this place. Construction of the present building began in 1809 on the ruins of a palace for representative of Tsarist Russia. In the following period, the government of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Exarch and his services were established here.
The Bridge of Peace
The Peace Bridge is located on the Mtkvari River in Tbilisi, between the Metekhi and Baratashvili Bridges. It connects Erekle II Street and Rike. The Peace Bridge has become one of the symbols of renewed Tbilisi. It was officially opened on May 6, 2010. The architect of the bridge is Michele de Luca (he is also the architect of the MIA building and the Presidential Palace), and the lighting designer is Philippe Martino (he owns the lighting design for the MIA building, the Presidential Palace and the TV tower).
Rike Park
Rike park is a beautiful, one of the most new artistically appointed park in the heart of the city. it’s very important, that the whole park, if seen from a bird’s eye view, creates a large-scale map of Georgia, as well as the meandering pathways from the borders depict various regions of Georgia.
Metekhi Cathedral
Metekhi Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is located in the ancient historical district of Metekhi, on the left bank of the Mtkvari River, in old Tbilisi. The main sanctuary of the temple is the tomb of St. Shushanik. After the ecclesiastical split between the Armenians and the Georgians at the beginning of the 7th century, Catholicos Kyrion transferred the remains of the saint from the small town of Tsurtavi to the Metekhi temple. The remains of the Holy Queen are in the deacons place. It is known that Queen Tamar adorned the body of the Blessed Queen with gilded clothes and paid special homage to her.
Monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali
Vakhtang I Gorgasali, of the Chosroid dynasty, was a king of Iberia, natively known as Kartli, in the second half of the 5th and first quarter of the 6th century. Dating Vakhtang's reign is problematic. With the alliance to the Byzantine Empire, he led his people into a lengthy struggle against Sasanian Iranian hegemony, which ended in Vakhtang's defeat and the weakening of the kingdom of Iberia.

Kartlis Deda
Mother of Kartli is a monumental statue in Tbilisi, which is one of the symbols of the city. "Mother of Georgia" is a symbol of Georgian national character: the statue holds a wine glass in one hand for guests and a sword for enemies in the other.
Narikala Fortress
The Holy Mountain Mtatsminda hosts the fragments of ancient Narikala fortress. The date of construction of the fortress is the 4 th century AD, i.e. it has been there from the city's beginning. Later the fortress was extended and expanded several times. In the 7 th - 8 th centuries it was done by Arabs. By the way, the citadel in its modern condition is a vivid example of an Arabian fortification.The fortress territory contains St. Nicolas temple dated the 12 th century.
Jumah Mosque
Tbilisi Mosque (Juma Mosque) is located in Old Tbilisi, below Narikala Fortress. It is currently the only Muslim shrine in the city. The first Sunni mosque was built here in 1723-1735 by the Ottomans. It was destroyed by the Persians in the 1740s. In 1846-1851, the building was rebuilt by architect Giovanni Scudieri, but by the end of the 19th century, in 1895, Baku-based millionaire and philanthropist Hajizinelabdin Tagiyev had completely renovated the mosque, significantly altering its eastern part.
Leghvtakhevi Waterfall
Leghvtakhevi waterfall - is located in the old city of Tbilisi, one of the ancient place Abanotubani. The waterfall is 22 meters tall. The name Leghvtakhevi comes from Georgian word "Leghvi" which means fig. There were so many trees of fig around this place. The ancient district Kala was separated from the main city by Leghvtakhevi gorge.
Abanotubani
Abanotubani is the ancient district of Tbilisi, Georgia, known for its sulphuric baths. Located at the eastern bank of the Mtkvari River at the foot of Narikala fortess. The emergence of the baths was promoted by the abundance of hot sulfuric springs in the area. All of them were built I different times - approximately it the 17 th – 19 th centuries. The oldest of them is the Irakli bath which was an object of ownership arguments between the imperial family and Georgian princes in the 16 th century.
Sulfur Baths
Chreli Abano is a place for a sulfur bath that is so popular among tourists and Georgians. The site looks like a mosque, but it's a sulfur bath, nice to visit and have fun.
Meidan Bazaar
“French traveler Jean Sharden already mentioned it in the 18th century. According to history, this place has always been a commercial square, although under different names – Shaitan Bazaar, Tatris Moedani, Tsikhis Moedani.” If you want to buy traditional Georgian wine, handmade accessories, souvenirs, delicacies and many other things, there is a unique place for you in the very center of old Tbilisi
Shardeni Street
Shardeni Street - a small pedestrian street, one of the single centers of the city’s cultural and social life. After the reconstruction in XIXc. the street was named Shardeni, in honor of the French traveler Jean Chardin. Nowadays, The main walking street Sharden together with its parallel Bambis Rigi and Rkinis Rigi, and Erekle II a little further north, are narrow pedestrian streets lined with fashionable galleries and cafes.
Sioni Cathedral Church
Tbilisi Sioni Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is a monument of Georgian architecture, cross-domed temple, located on the lower right bank of the Mtkvari in Tbilisi, Zemo Kala, Old Tbilisi, Tbilisi Cathedral (Episcopal) from the 5th century to the present, and since 1920 the Patriarchal Cathedral.
